Authorised Drivers:Any person who is driving on the Policyholder’s order or with his permission, provided that the person driving holds a licence to drive the Motor Vehicle and is not disqualified from holding or obtaining such a licence. The term “licence” means a licence or other permit required by the licensing or other laws or regulations. If the person driving holds a learner’s licence then that person has to obey the learners’ licence regulations and cannot drive the vehicle unless accompanied by a person who holds a proper licence to drive the Motor Vehicle. Otherwise, all losses are excluded from the cover.
Legislation: Motor Vehicles (Third Party Insurance) Law 1954 or any law amending or substituting the same.
Road: A "road" in the TRNC within the meaning of the Motor Vehicles and Road Traffic Law.

Premium payment and the commencement of the liability of the Insurer:
The total insurance premium or the first instalment if it is agreed to be paid by instalments, should be paid as soon as the policy is issued or at least when the policy is delivered to the insured. Otherwise the liability of the insurer does not commence even if the policy is delivered. If the instalments are not paid on the due dates written in the policy, then the insured falls into default and the policy is cancelled without prior notice, and the premium for the insurer’s responsibility period is calculated on a per day basis and any overpayment is paid back to the insured. In the event of a loss or claim all of the outstanding instalments that do not exceed the compensation become due and immediately payable.
